A platform on your server, not on ours
One Click Apps installs a deployment platform on your own VPS. The applications run on your instance, with your resources and your data. You keep SSH access and root privileges: nothing prevents you from working directly on the machine. Installing the platform takes a few minutes and starts from the One Click Apps tab of your instance. It opens ports 80 and 443 for your applications, and restricts its own administration ports to our management servers.342 applications across 38 categories
The catalogue covers what a server is usually asked to do: content management, developer tools, automation, monitoring, AI, media, databases. WordPress, Nextcloud, Ghost, Gitea, Uptime Kuma, Vaultwarden, Umami and Activepieces are featured, but the full list holds 342 entries and refreshes automatically. Every application arrives preconfigured: passwords and keys are generated at deployment time, and you find them again in the application’s Overview tab.HTTPS right away, your domain next
As soon as it is deployed, the application is reachable over HTTPS on an automatically generated address, with a Let’s Encrypt certificate. There is nothing to configure to start testing. When you are ready to move to your own domain name, add it in the Domains tab. If the domain’s DNS zone is already managed at OnetSolutions within the same organization, the A record is created for you; otherwise the console tells you which IP address to point to and checks resolution before applying the domain.Daily backups, one-click restore
Each application’s data volumes are backed up once a day, with seven days of retention, without stopping the containers. The Backups tab lists the available archives, lets you trigger one on demand, and restores a volume to an earlier version.Updates you can see
The console compares the deployed images with the ones published upstream, and flags the applications that have a newer version available. You start the update from the application page. The platform itself updates the same way, with an optional nightly auto-update.What you need
- A VPS running Debian or Ubuntu
- At least 2 vCPUs, 2 GB of RAM and 30 GB of disk
- Nothing else: the feature is included with your VPS at no extra cost
Getting started
Open your instance in the console, go to One Click Apps, then install the platform. The documentation covers each step: installation and requirements, deploying an application, custom domain. One Click Apps is rolling out progressively. If the section does not appear on your instance yet, it is not enabled on your account yet.
